To calculate the touchdown point, you can use the groundspeed and the descent rate of the aircraft. First, determine the groundspeed by looking at the airspeed indicator and factoring in any wind. Then, calculate the descent rate by dividing the altitude loss by the time it takes to descend. Once you have these two values, you can use them to calculate the touchdown point by multiplying the groundspeed by the descent rate. This will give you the distance from the runway threshold where the aircraft will touch down. **

Yes, a player from the defense can score a touchdown. This can happen when a defensive player intercepts the ball and runs it into the opposing team's end zone, or when they recover a fumble and do the same. Additionally, a defensive player can also score a touchdown by blocking a kick and then recovering the ball in the end zone. These are all ways in which a player from the defense can contribute to scoring a touchdown for their team. **

A descent rate of 390 ft/min would be considered a relatively high descent rate for a touchdown, but whether it is considered a "very hard landing" would depend on the specific aircraft and its design limitations. Different aircraft have different maximum allowable descent rates for landing, and exceeding these limits could result in a hard landing. Additionally, the condition of the runway and the aircraft's weight at the time of landing can also affect the perception of the landing as hard or not. Therefore, it is important to consider all these factors when assessing the severity of a landing. **
