No, poachers cannot be shot. Killing or harming someone, even if they are engaged in illegal activities like poaching, is illegal and unethical. Poachers should be apprehended and brought to justice through legal means, such as arrest and prosecution. Conservation efforts should focus on addressing the root causes of poaching, such as poverty and lack of alternative livelihoods, to effectively combat this illegal activity. **

I believe that profit-driven poaching, even if done in a humane manner, is still unethical and harmful to wildlife populations. Poaching for profit contributes to the decline of endangered species and disrupts ecosystems. While the humane treatment of animals is important, it does not justify the exploitation and illegal hunting of wildlife for financial gain. Conservation efforts and sustainable practices should be prioritized over profit-driven poaching. **

While it is commendable that profit-driven poachers may show some level of compassion towards animals, their actions ultimately contribute to the illegal wildlife trade and endanger already vulnerable species. Poaching, even if done in a humane manner, still has detrimental effects on ecosystems and biodiversity. It is important to address the root causes that drive individuals to poach, such as poverty and lack of alternative livelihoods, in order to effectively combat this issue. Ultimately, conservation efforts should focus on promoting sustainable and ethical practices that benefit both wildlife and local communities. **

It is not accurate to say that people were noble poachers before settling down and therefore good people. Poaching, by its nature, involves the illegal hunting or capturing of wild animals, which is harmful to the environment and wildlife populations. While it is true that early human societies relied on hunting and gathering for survival, the concept of poaching as we understand it today did not exist in the same way. Settling down and transitioning to more sustainable and ethical ways of obtaining food and resources, such as agriculture and trade, allowed for the development of more organized and civilized societies. Therefore, it is not accurate to equate poaching with nobility or goodness. **

Allowing anglers, hunters, and poachers to bring their own meat to a restaurant raises several concerns. Firstly, there may be legal implications if the meat was obtained through illegal means, such as poaching. Additionally, there are health and safety risks associated with consuming wild game that has not been properly inspected and prepared in a controlled environment. Finally, it may go against the restaurant's policies and regulations regarding food sourcing and quality control. **
