It is important to ensure that the nematodes are applied at the right time and under the right conditions for maximum effectiveness. Regular applications may be necessary to keep the fungus gnat population under control. **

Despite the use of nematodes and yellow sticky traps, fungus gnats may still persist due to various reasons. It is possible that the infestation is extensive, requiring multiple methods of control. Additionally, the gnats may be coming from an outside source, making it challenging to completely eradicate them. Regular monitoring and a combination of different control methods may be necessary to effectively manage the fungus gnat population. **
